Meet Monte Feagin
Hairdresser since 2008, I specialize in luxury blonding, corrective color, and chemical retexturizing. I founded The Color Pusher Hair in 2017 not really knowing what I was looking for at the time but craving something different than the salon model I knew. Throughout the past several years, it has evolved into customized craft color delivered to each of my guests in a comfortable one-on-one atmosphere. I’m grateful to have a platform from which I can educate my clients on the science of what exactly I’m doing to their hair, and so grateful to have the opportunity to entertain and build lasting relationships with the friends sitting in my chair.
There is a symbiosis between my life and the evolution of The Color Pusher Hair. It has shaped my personal growth in so many ways and introduced me to some of the greatest people I’ve known. I’m truly lucky to have a love affair with my work...even on our toughest days together.
Outside of hairdressing, I have a B.A. in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs from SMU and spent two years as an educator for the Italian product line Davines.
